Hi, I’m Erika,
I am a life transition coach for introverted women.
Do you feel you are living someone else’s life? You want to change but don’t know how? What if it doesn’t work out? Why others have a perfect life and I am still struggling? Do you feel the pressure of the expectation to have your life figured out already by your age?
Change is inevitable. Nothing stays the same. The world evolves, technology advances, and we as individuals have the chance to grow.
Change can be important and good because it pushes us out of our comfort zones, leading to personal growth and new opportunities, but not always easy or comfortable. It depends on us. I also went through changes, being a teacher, a librarian and now a life coach. It all added to my life experiences, but the road was not without bumps.
If the obstacles in your life took you on a roller coaster ride, and want to learn to be more resilient, or want a healthier work-life balance, or want to figure out what to do about something that didn’t work so far in your life, I can help you.
Friends and family, your work and people around you are connections that are creating a net. When there is a problem somewhere, this net gets lopsided, strings are pulled or there are holes in there.
Together we’ll find the main strings. You will lead the way and create the life or circumstances you want, fixing, pulling the strings, tightening the net, bringing it back to even.
So you will have a healthy and strong net to catch you and bounce you back when new change comes into your life.
A few words about me
When I thought about my future in my youth, I didn’t think I would be working with people asking them questions about what they want to do.
I was more practical. I went to become a teacher. Then I worked in offices. That was the time when I moved. First I moved to a larger city, then to a larger continent. Suddenly, I had to find my bearings in a new culture, using a new language, finding new friends, acquaintances, job(s), and all the things that a new life included. You would think newness is invigorating. While you are not wrong, there were times when I had enough of it.
Change is hard. Change is scary, and too much sometimes. After a while I got a hang of the new things and they became easier.
I did find a new place to live, new friends and family and I went back to school to become a librarian. Along the way I learned a lot about myself and in my work as a librarian I realized I loved working with people. Helping them. Asking questions. And telling them where they find information. So, I became a life coach. Now, as a life coach I still ask questions, but I enjoy all the ways my clients come up with their own answers.
I am a certified life coach by Mentorcoach, LLC. Their training is based on Positive Psychology, which focuses on peoples’ strengths and positive feelings, events and influences in their lives.
I am also a member of the International Coaching Federation, which is an accrediting and credentialing non-profit organization for coaches. In 2023 I obtained the ICF ACC credentials.
Christopher Peterson, one of the founders of positive psychology wrote it in a blog post: “Positive psychology is the scientific study of what makes life most worth living” (Peterson, 2008).
I strive to support introverted women to move forward without fear in their lives, in achieving their fullest potential and finding joy and fulfillment in all aspects, so their lives are worth living.
