About Me
Frances Logan Art and Coaching acknowledges that the land upon which we offer our services is the unceded, ancestral and traditional territories of the Treaty 8 Nations. Including Sikanni, Slavey, Beaver (Dunne-za), Cree and Saulteau. We respect and honour this land and all of our relations.
I graduated from my Wayfinder Life Coach training with Martha Beck Inc in Dec 2022. I continue to coach and be coached by peer coaches which is a huge help in maintaining and developing strategies to be driven by life force and not the force of fear.
In addition to my coach training I have spent 20 years working and constantly upgrading skills in various Social Service agencies in British Colombia as a Career Development Practitioner, and currently as a Trauma informed Women’s Counsellor.
A large focus of my efforts has been to assist people with diagnosed disabilities and health challenges to find ways to achieve community attachment through either Volunteer placements or Employment. There were many steps and factors involved in that, discovering strengths and abilities, exploring interests, health needs, finding ways to build self esteem, manage anxiety, understand learning and communication styles, and explore ways to explain needs to employers.
Before that I was an ESL teacher and registered examiner for Cambridge Orals, working in Spain, Italy, UK and Canada, learning about other cultures, communication and languages.
And before that ( yes there was a before that!) I studied Three Dimensional Design and worked as an Interior Designer in the Leisure Industry, winning contracts with creative ideas.
