What Does Novi Coaching & Consultancy Stand For?
The name Novi carries a story — one rooted in language, transformation, and possibility.
Since childhood, my closest companions have always been books. Long before I knew what a “career” or a “calling” was, I found myself most at home in the world of words. Literature gave me space to dream, writing gave me clarity, and both gave me comfort. The rhythm of a well-crafted sentence, the power of a single word — they have always moved me deeply.
As a lifelong lover of writing, I hold great respect for language and its structure. Grammar and punctuation are not just technical rules; they are tools for thought. Among them, one mark has always stood out to me — the semicolon (;).
Unlike others, The semicolon is unique: it links two ideas, but leaves room for movement. It offers choice. After a semicolon, we can continue the thought that came before; or we can take an entirely new direction. What came before matters, but it does not define us. Our power lies in the transition — in what we choose to do next.
There’s something almost poetic about the semicolon’s shape: it resembles a person in thought. The comma rests like a bowed head; the dot hovers like an emerging idea. It’s as if the semicolon itself is pausing to reflect — a visual metaphor for awareness, intention, and inner potential.
That’s why Novi — our company name — is inspired by the first syllables of the words “noktalı virgül”, Turkish for semicolon. It reflects a core belief in coaching and in life: It’s not just about how we got here; it’s about where we want to go from here.
