Leadership and Wellness Coach (PCC)
I am certified in professional coaching (ICF) and have over ten years of experience doing wellness, life, and leadership coaching in the corporate, public, and non-profit sectors. I am an ambassador of the ICF Community of Practice of Health and Wellness. Furthermore, I also collaborate as a Wisdom Weaver with the Thought Leadership Institute of the ICF.
I’m CEO of Ruwalab Coaching & Wellness Institute, an accredited education provider for Level 2 education.
I became a coach because, in my experience as a leader of a non-profit for more than a decade and a consultant for leaders and high-potential professionals, I noticed how important it is to help people reach their maximum potential and enjoy the process and live with more wellness.
I have created innovation and leadership courses at Universities and Institutes and have led innovation workshops with hundreds of leaders in the corporate, public and non-profit sector, that experience helps me support my coachees in their innovation, change-management, and human skills challenges.
I am also certified as an Oxygen Advantage Advanced Breathing Instructor; I focus on breathing to optimize your mental and overall health, helping you to calm your mind, concentrate better, and improve your physical performance. I’m passionate about helping people reach their maximum potential, and breathing is essential in helping you thrive in life.

Leadership, wellness, change-agent, and public speaking professional experience
I have led an organization for over 16 years (NGO Ruwasunchis). I was recognized as an Ashoka social entrepreneur fellow and have given conferences to thousands of people in Peru, the United States, and Europe. Furthermore, I have also worked with hundreds of leaders from the corporate, public, and non-profit sectors through coaching, leadership, and wellness interventions.
I also gave a TED talk at TEDx Lima 2020, sharing my journey as a social entrepreneur in Peru, and was a speaker at the World Forum for Democracy 2016.

My coaching approach
My coaching approach is that we are all creative leaders that can make an impact in the world. I also believe that self-knowledge is the foundation for getting clarity and growing as a human being and as a professional.
High potential leaders tend to be stressed, not reach their full potential if they don’t have the right tools, perspective and mindset.
If the coachee reached his goals, then we have succeeded. There has to be growth and learning for that to happen. I also think that the coaching processes must allow the coachee to have the right tools, perspectives and mindset for continuing their personal and professional journey, applying what they learned in new challenges.
One of my stories is about a change agent that was my coachee, she was having challenges in her NGO, and in her personal life, feeling constantly stressed and overwhelmed. In our process she strengthened her leadership skills as well as her wellbeing, being really aware that her health improves with making herself responsible for it daily. In the process, she started studying to be a wellness specialist, and she made innovations in her NGO to making more impact with more time available for her.
