Juan Diego’s Bio
Born and raised in Lima, Peru, Juan Diego studied Economics in the UNALM in Lima. 17 years ago (in 2016) he founded the NGO Ruwasunchis that focuses on improving the quality of life and providing opportunities to kids, youth and women in vulnerable communities from Peru. Ruwasunchis focuses on Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) and wellbeing enhancement in the people served. He is also Ashoka Fellow, and Globalshaper Alumni of the World Economic Forum. On 2020 he did a TED Talk about Ruwasunchis.
He is currently the CEO and founder of Ruwalab Coaching & Wellness Institute, where he trains professional coaches. Also, he develops innovation, coaching, and wellness courses, workshops, and experiences for the cooperative, public, and non-profit sectors.
