Over time, I was lucky to have managers who told me “You have to prepare yourself because, at some point, you can take over my position.”
I was lucky to have them because they held up a mirror to me, and thanks to them, I gained the confidence to do more.
But I also had situations when it was suggested to me that I had nothing more to do…
That’s how I understood that I don’t have to prove anything to anyone or that I don’t have to ask.
It’s not about them, it’s about me. You can’t wait for others to see your value for you to recognize it.
True value is revealed when you get up from the table or when you choose to spend less time there.
It’s not about revenge; it’s about self-respect; to value your resources and to preserve yourself in environments where you cannot shine.
With this thought in mind, I started the program “The Year When I Will Work for My Dream”
You don’t have to change the table, but it is your duty to yourself to take care of what makes you happy.
