Intelligence test

This test is inspired by Einstein’s intelligence test.

I took that version and made a new one, the corporate edition.

Assumptions:

  1. There are 5 desks, with a different person sitting at each one, each having a different role. The desks are arranged in a line, one after another.
  2. At each desk sits a person who, as a child, dreamed of having a different profession.
  3. Each employee ate something different for lunch.
  4. None of the five people listen to the same music or have the same hobby.

The following information is given:

  • The CEO dreamed of becoming an astronaut as a child.
  • The Sales Director had Thai curry for lunch.
  • The Finance Director enjoys listening to Eric Clapton.
  • The person who, as a child, dreamed of becoming an actor sits to the left of the one who dreamed of becoming a biologist.
  • The person who dreamed of becoming an actor as a child listens to Dua Lipa.
  • The person who is passionate about furniture restoration had Beef Wellington for lunch.
  • The person sitting at the middle desk listens to Ramin Djawadi.
  • The person who dreamed of becoming an airplane pilot is passionate about pottery.
  • The Operations Director sits at the first desk.
  • The photography enthusiast sits next to the person who had handmade pasta for lunch.
  • The person who had risotto for lunch sits next to the one who enjoys pottery.
  • The person who enjoys doing makeup in their free time listens to Emancipator.
