I am a ‘C’ level securities services banking specialist with 40 years of experience in the institutional banking arena with some of the industry’s most respected service providers within multiple senior leadership roles in the UK, Luxembourg and Singapore.

Previous roles have covered a broad range of responsibilities and functions including as Chief Operating Officer, Head of Business, Head of Global Products and Head of Strategy for global business, as well as Country Head for Securities Services.

I have developed a wide set of transferable skills during an extensive career, with a track record of success in managing and growing businesses, building and executing against business strategies and investment projects, building and developing teams, and achieving consensus towards common goals at the individual firm and industry levels – generally within tight time frames and limited budgets.

I retired from mainstream banking in January 2021 and established SC Solves Pte Ltd. in Singapore, providing banking consultancy services and professional coaching for corporate and individual clients.

Coaching

I believe that Performance, in any task, is equal to Potential minus any Interference. As an iPEC trained and certified coach, I work with my clients to identify what is getting in their way and impacting their ability to perform at their optimum levels, and work with them to create strategies to clear those blockages.

Clients typically come to me for help with issues that include, although not exclusively;

  • Feelings of stress.
  • ‘Work/Life’ balance.
  • Lack of confidence – ‘Imposter Syndrome’.
  • Difficulty coping with pressure.
  • Non-action/indecisiveness.
  • Difficult relationships and conflict management.

  • Lack of, or misalignment to, a purpose or vision.

Specialisation

I am one of the few coaches (less than 300 globally) that has achieved specific certification in four areas of coaching specialisation, more specifically:-

  • Leadership – Becoming the Leader that you want to be; in control; always flexible; always present; confident, inspired and inspiring; fully engaged; always learning and growing; walking the talk; embodying excellence.
  • Transitions – Moving from where you are to where you want to be in any and every aspect of life. Examples include changes in role, manager or firm; developing and coping with new lifestyle events; becoming an empty nester or having a baby; managing changes in relationships – personal or professional. The list is endless.
  • Well-being – Identifying the areas of life in which you would like to experience greater wellbeing and mastering the concepts, exercises and experiences that you require to reduce stress, increase energy and improve overall wellbeing.
  • Performance – Perform without thinking, without worrying, without fear and without hesitation to experience a sense of fulfilment and calm in everything that you undertake.

Performance = Potential – Interference

Based on the COR.E Dynamics approach taught by iPEC (http://www.iPECcoaching.com) I work with clients to explain and explore the 6 core influencers that drain energy and reduce performance and the 10 core Disciplines that drive high potentiality and performance.

The 6 COR.E Influencers that drain energy and reduce performance levels are the spiritual, mental, emotional, physical, social and environmental factors that can work for you, or can detract from your leadership performance when they don’t. They represent the ‘interference’ in the equation referenced above, and can vary from person to person and from situation to situation. Simply put, any time you are not performing to the best of your ability, something is blocking your energy and it is likely to be one of these 6 influencers that is holding you back. Working together we will identify that block, or blockages, and create strategies to drive peak performance.

The work on COR.E Influencers deals with changing energy in the moment so that your energy is at the highest possible level at that time. The 10 COR.E Disciplines, if lived and practiced, will shift your attitude and belief system, raising your overall energy for leadership and for life, as well as increasing the potential to perform. The 10 COR.E Disciplines are; Awareness, Acceptance, Conscious Choice, Trusting the process, Authenticity, Fearlessness, Confidence, Connection, Presence and 100% energetic engagement. As a COR.E Dynamics Specialist, I work with clients to identify interference and develop action plans and intervention strategies to create their ideal energetic leadership and performance state.
