INDIVIDUAL & EXECUTIVE COACHING: MAKING A DIFFERENCE!
We all have goals we want to reach, challenges we’re striving to overcome, ideas that need a road map and times when we feel stuck. Partnering with a professional coach can unlock your potential and set you on a path to thriving personally and professionally. One-on-one coaching gives you the opportunity to gain clarity and perspective; to reflect on what’s been happening for you at the same time as ensuring you identify and work towards your goals, and keep your eyes on the future.
Whether it be setting bold goals and strategies to achieve them; holding crucial conversations; planning for success; planning for change; getting out of a rut or any other need, people committed to being the best they can be, tap into the power of coaching.
It’s really, really easy to be caught up with what’s in front of you every day in this so called VUCA (Volatile, Uncertain, Complex, Ambiguous) world; feeling challenged to stay on top of it all, constantly fighting fires.
By drawing on leadership concepts and frameworks, best practice, and wisdom gained from many years of experience, a coach helps bring fresh thinking to the challenges you face. A coach is committed to your success and supports and challenges you to lift your leadership performance.
I understand the landscape you’re operating in!
TEAM COACHING
Team coaching uses your organisation’s need for performance as an opportunity to identify the processes your team needs to develop together to deliver higher performance.
Team Coaching through reflection and dialogue demonstrates and teaches the team the tools needs for this level of performance. The coaching focuses on what your team delivers and their dynamics – performance and processes.
First we support your team in learning how to learn. Then we introduce a coaching approach that includes processes around reflection, dialogue, questions and feedback that your team will be able to use on their own.
The primary model in use is based on Peter Hawkins’ Team Coaching approach which acknowledges the systemic drivers at play in the teams day-to-day work life.
WSQUARED ALSO OFFERS TEAM FACILITATION
Team development takes many forms, team facilitation allows groups or teams to journey together, learning and challenging ideas and issues, in a safe environment, to contribute towards making tomorrow possible.
I BRING TO YOUR SESSION:
- a well rounded tool box of methods and models that work for pretty much any size of group / team
- my world view and experience in designing and running engaging, effective sessions that use the knowledge and experiences in the room for maximum effect
- a belief that all participants bring something of value, and that all views add to the richness of thought required to frame and/or re-frame issues and topics to make the most of what’s known, and of course to identify what needs to be known to make a difference.
CAREER COACHING
I use a simple framework, just four steps, to help you work through where next for you? You’ll work with your values, passion and purpose and end up with a one page charter that I call “One’s Journey One Page Charter – My Career” which sets out what’s important to you and what the ideal next step in your career would look like. You can then use this charter over time to review or reset your career’s course.
The Oxford English Dictionary defines the word “career” as a person’s “course or progress through life (or a distinct portion of life)”.
I like this definition as it says to me that we’re talking about a whole person view of life, rather than subscribing to the commonly expressed approach of work and life being separate states.
A question that I’m often asked when working with coaching counterparts is, how do I work out my next career step?
The question comes in a number of variations; how do I move on in my career in a safe way?, how do I find out what’s next for me? or how do I know that the role I’m being offered will help me achieve my career goals? and many others.
In essence, I think these sorts of questions get down to: where am I going? And, how might I get there?
