Helping people think better, so they can lead better.

Leadership has taken me from the sea to executive boardrooms, university classrooms and coaching conversations. While the settings have changed, my purpose has not.

I help people create the space to think more clearly, challenge assumptions and make better decisions. Decisions they can truly own. Not by providing answers, but by asking better questions.

I believe better conversations create better thinking.

Better thinking creates better decisions.

Better decisions create safer, stronger and more successful organizations.

Over three decades, I’ve learned that the greatest leadership challenges are rarely technical. They are human. They call for curiosity before certainty, reflection before reaction, and courage before comfort.

Whether I’m coaching executives, teaching future leaders, mentoring coaches or sailing with a crew, the work feels remarkably similar: creating the conditions in which people can think at their best and become better stewards of the opportunities entrusted to them.

I’m endlessly curious about people and fascinated by the different ways they make sense of the world. Walking alongside someone as they discover a new perspective, make an important decision or grow into a better leader remains one of the greatest privileges of my work.

Always in the making. Never made.
