Hi I’m Jody
If you’re here, you’re probably in the middle of something—a transition, a question, a quiet (or not-so-quiet) sense that something needs to shift. I know that space well, and it’s where I do my best work. I don’t see transitions as problems to fix—I see them as invitations. Invitations to pause, to listen differently, and to step into something more aligned with who I am now—and who you are becoming.
My path to coaching wasn’t accidental. After spending decades as faculty, an administrator, and a Dean, I found myself drawn to a deeper question: how do people not just succeed, but truly evolve through change? That question led me here. Today, as an executive coach and founder of Full Circle Coaching, I partner with individuals, leaders, and organizations who are ready to move beyond uncertainty and into something more intentional. Not perfect—just real, clear, and forward-moving.
When we work together, you can expect a conversation that is honest, thoughtful, and sometimes a little uncomfortable—in the best way. I listen deeply, I ask the questions that matter, and I help you see what may be just out of reach. I hold space for you to breathe and think. I bring a blend of experience, intuition, and tools—from Transitional Intelligence (TQ) to Emotional Intelligence (EQ) and Strengths-based work (SQ)—but more importantly, I bring a genuine belief in your ability to figure this out. My role isn’t to give you answers. It’s to help you access your own—and trust them.
Clients often tell me that our work feels different—that they leave with not just insight, but a shift in how they think and show up. That’s what matters to me. Because at the end of the day, this isn’t about coaching sessions. It’s about your life, your leadership, your next chapter.
And if you’re ready to explore that—even if you’re not quite sure what it looks like yet—I’d love to start the conversation.
The credentials
I hold a Ph.D. and am a Professional Certified Coach (PCC), as well as a certified assessor and mentor coach through the International Coaching Federation (ICF). I’ve had the privilege of serving as President of the ICF Central Florida Charter Chapter, along with several other board roles. I’m a Positive Intelligence (PQ) Pioneer and a Certified Positive Intelligence Coach (CPQC), I’m a Pioneer and Master Certified Transitions Intelligence Coach (MTQ) through Modern Elder Academy (MEA). I’m also a certified in Social/Emotional Intelligence (EQ). I have training certificates in StrengthsQuest (SQ), Dare to Lead, as a Wellness and Health Coach, and am a CODA – Connected Leader. All of this alphabet soup simply helps individuals and organizations cultivate strong leadership and adaptability in an ever-changing world.
That may sound like a lot of letters—and it is—but what it really means is that I bring a wide range of tools and deep insight to support my clients.
Individuals and Corporations
Whether I’m working with Fortune 500 companies, nonprofits, educational institutions, or individuals one-on-one, I believe coaching can benefit everyone. I’m dedicated to helping individuals and organizations thrive in today’s fast-paced world—ready to embrace change, come FULL CIRCLE, and unlock their full potential.
I bring high energy, a positive outlook, and a sense of humor to my work, and I’m grateful to partner with clients from organizations like Lorelle, Campari, Boar’s Head, and Kellogg’s who trust me to support meaningful transformation. Because in the end, success isn’t just about strategy—it’s about mindset.
Beyond Coaching
Not all of my credentials live in boardrooms or behind a desk—some are a little smokier, a little saucier, and a whole lot more delicious.
I’m a Master Barbecue Judge with the Florida Barbecue Association, a certified Kansas City Barbecue Judge, and I’ve even judged at the American Pie Council National Competition. This is one of my favorite “credentials” to talk about. My husband and I travel around in search of the best Q, evaluating everything from tenderness and texture to flavor, balance, and that unforgettable first bite. It’s serious judging—but let’s be honest, it’s also serious fun.
What I love about that world is how much it mirrors coaching: craft, intention, and experience. Whether I’m helping a client navigate a life transition or evaluating a perfectly smoked brisket, it’s all about noticing what’s beneath the surface and appreciating what makes something truly exceptional. And yes—some weekends, my “research” involves a fork, a scorecard, and a very happy palate.
