Gábor Kosztolánczy
Coach, Team coach, Supervisor, Gestalt therapist
Throughout my career, I have always been most deeply interested in human development. As an executive leader, coach, organizational development consultant and Gestalt therapist, I work with people every day, while my own journey of self-awareness continues to shape who I am. For me, development is not merely a professional field—it is a deeply personal experience.
For more than twenty years, I have worked as a senior executive in complex organizational environments. Every day, I encounter the weight of responsibility, the consequences of difficult decisions, the demands of continuous change, and the unique loneliness that often accompanies leadership but remains invisible to others. I know what it feels like to face situations where there are no clear answers, to balance being both a leader and a human being, while providing stability and direction for others. These experiences have not only shaped me—they enable me to understand my clients’ dilemmas and inner processes with greater depth and empathy.
As a coach, I do not aim to provide ready-made answers. Instead, I create a space where people can safely question, reflect, pause and discover new perspectives. My work is grounded in curiosity, acceptance and a genuine partnership. I believe that lasting change does not come from external solutions, but emerges when we develop a deeper awareness of ourselves—our emotions, needs and relationships.
My experience as a leader, organizational development consultant and therapist comes together in my work. I approach challenges from a systemic perspective, while keeping my attention firmly on the individual: what is happening in the present moment, what can already be expressed, and what is only beginning to emerge. I believe that genuine development is not about functioning perfectly, but about becoming more authentic, more present and more conscious in the choices we make.
An active sporting life continues to be an important part of who I am. As an athlete, I repeatedly experience the value of perseverance, discipline, learning from setbacks and striving for continuous improvement. These experiences remind me that growth is rarely a linear journey, and that the most meaningful transformation often begins beyond our comfort zone. This is the same mindset that I bring into every coaching conversation.
