Are You Playing Small?

For years I had convinced myself that playing small and staying in my lane was what I had to do to survive. One day I heard a word that changed my thinking and my life. I found my voice, my courage, and a passion that I never knew was possible. Since then, my life has taken on a new purpose and it inspires me to dream big, to work harder, to push myself to grow and to help others who are struggling to find their way.

What Story Are You Telling Yourself?

I’ve learned that the stories that we often tell ourselves — that we’re not good enough, that we don’t deserve to be happy – that we have to settle for whatever life hands us — lead to self-limiting behaviors that trap us and prevent us from living the purposeful and fulfilling lives we deserve.

Are You Settling In Life?

Sometimes we settle for less than we deserve in life for a lot of reasons. It could be fear of failing, fear of the unknown, or some perceived barrier that we are afraid to overcome.  Nevertheless, when you take responsibility for your own life and make the decision to stop settling for less than you deserve, you will discover an amazing feeling of freedom, energy, positive self-esteem, personal power and clarity like you wouldn’t believe. It’s amazing how everything changes when your mind changes.

I encourage you to stop settling for less than you deserve. Start dreaming about what is possible. If someone has done it before — then it’s possible.  If no one has done it — it still may be possible for you to do it. Believe in yourself and in your dreams. Get very clear about what you want, and the steps needed, and then pursue your dream with passion.  Push past your discomfort and take action on your goals.  Do it now!  Do it now! Don’t wait!  Life is too short to live and die with regrets.

Failure Is A Part Of The Learning Process

The truth is. . . failure is a normal part of the learning process.  If you haven’t failed at something — then you haven’t really tried. It’s rare to ever try something you’ve never done before and do it well the first time out.

Most people fumble, stumble, and look and feel awkward when they are operating outside of their comfort zone for the first time. But with the right practice and coaching, they find their sweet spot and they begin to flow.  The key is to realize that failure is temporary. It doesn’t define who we are as individuals.

Never Give Up On Yourself

So, go ahead and step outside of your comfort zone and do what your heart is compelling you to do. Learn from the things that don’t work out, find new solutions and move on.  Never give up on what you believe is possible for your life.

Many blessings to you.
