We recognize that each client is special, and everyone’s journey is different.  As such, we will work with you to try to understand your unique situation. We will adjust to what works best for you and your learning style using proven techniques.  We will also listen to your concerns, and ask evocative, powerful questions to help inspire you to make the changes you desire.

As your partner and coach, we will not try to fix you.  We believe that you are already whole and fully capable of achieving the goals that you set.  Instead, we will work proactively to help you create an optimal vision of health that matches your core values and spans across a variety of categories that all add up to ultimate health.

What You Can Expect

You can expect a partnership.  We will not tell you what to do. Client-centered coaching is not directive. We don’t stand on the sidelines like a football coach and tell you what your best move is.  We don’t give you a prescription and say, “follow up in a few weeks.”  Rather, we’re in it WITH YOU.  We unpack your deepest aspirations and carefully help you to select appropriate actions to get you there. We follow a specific, whole-person approach to encompass your life more completely.

We do not give advice. We go all in with exactly what the CLIENT wants. We help you the client open up about what you truly want and value in life and what obstacles we can help remove from getting you there. You get to decide what is most important to you and you get to choose your course of action.  We guide you through a process to maximize the possibility of your success.  We support you in tracking your weekly progress and help to hold you accountable for your commitments.

Any concern that gets in the way of taking care of your health is the perfect subject with which to begin coaching. Therefore, any topic that you think will contribute to your optimal health is an appropriate topic for Integrative Health Coaching.

We Facilitate Realistic Action Steps

Change can only happen if it’s sustainable.  As your partner and coach, we guide you in starting out with 1 to 2 feasible actions steps per week, so you’re not overwhelmed or feel like a failure straight out of the gates. You will LEARN about yourself in this process. There is no failing.

We Hold Clients Accountable

Meeting once a week or every other week gives you the client time to try out the actions you set forth, and then check in on how it went and what barriers you came across. We discuss lessons uncovered no matter the outcome.

Finally, we empower you to make lasting health behavior changes that become cornerstones of your lifelong wellbeing. With this evidence-based approach, you are guided through your personal vision of optimal health, and into creating plans with goals and steps to achieve that very vision.

Why Is Coaching Effective?

Integrative Health Coaching is not just about your physical well-being; it is also about you as a whole person: your values, goals, work, balance, fulfillment and life purpose. Through the coaching process, clients typically reach various goals, improve their performance, and enhance their quality of life. Coaches use reporting, exploring, and consistently committing to positive forward improvement. This proactive working relationship will accelerate your progress by providing greater focus and awareness of choice.

Health Coaching is best performed over a period of three to six months on a consistent basis. These meetings can occur in person, via Zoom or over the phone and last for 30 minutes.
